It pays to pay a professional
There is truth in knowing when to admit that you can not do everything. I’m happy to admit that I am not a good photographer (in any way). If you’ve been following my social media posts, you might have noticed a trend – my photos are crooked. I like them that way but that style does not work when you need a true, polished, professional-grade photograph, and for that reason I hired one!
Rachel of Full Swoon Photography did a masterful job of directing our session. I love the way she captured my head shots, and how she snuck in a few playful bloopers. She captured hundreds of images in just a few hours. On top of that, she had them edited and in my hands within a week! I now have ample images to choose from for my marketing materials. She captured exactly what I envisioned but EVEN BETTER!
To reinforce this post’s theme, Rachel of Full Swoon Photography was recommended to me by the first photographer I tried to book. The first photographer was wise enough to admit that she didn’t feel she could capture the look I wanted. As a commercial artist, I want my clients to be completely happy with the artwork they’re ready to commission and if for any reason I don’t think I can fulfill that, I am always happy to refer someone who will.
So, thank you Rachel. I couldn’t be happier!
