Arizona client, Brandon Dvorak is adding another painting to his collection which will ultimately inspire a new addition to his body-as-canvas. The recently completed “Buddha and Samurai” painting is inspired by contemporary approaches to Japanese tattoo themes. The composition wraps iconic characters such as a koi fish, warrior, lotus flowers, cherry blossoms, and more around two of Brandon’s existing tattoos the dragon and ace of hearts.

This was an especially fun project as I’ve know Brandon for years; he also owns other prints by me too. He gave me full liberty to play with color and style. I look forward to seeing it as body art on his arm in the future.
