The annual La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival is a showcase art festival in the heart of Downtown Hillsboro, OR. Each spring, Tualatin Valley Creates, the nonprofit who produces the event, does a whole series of Buzz Builders wherein they commission local chalk artists to host hands-on activities across the Portland Metro region (free). In June 2022, Sushmitta Podar and I created this Mandala-inspired pattern for the Shute Park visitors to participate in.
